Our dog Mickey who was 13, died December
23. We adopted Boomer (formerly Sammy) from Amy in March. He is
quite a handful, but lots of fun.
Boomer like squirrels, bunnies, walks, and teasing everyone. He
plays a mean game of fetch and even brings the ball back. Indoor
activities include shredding rolls of toilet paper; learning
shake, sit, and down; and napping.
Boomer is now 10 months old and my vet assures me a good boy is
right around the corner. These are his teenage years (I think of
him as my juvenile delinquent). Obedience is not his favorite
activity, but he's getting better!
We love Boomer and work with him daily. I think by next summer
he's going to be a great dog. For now we have a really fun and
high energy puppy.
