Macy is now Callista (or Callie), and she has been a great dog and worth the wait we had to go through to adopt her.  As you know, she was saved from being put down because of her leg that was broken and didn't heal properly.  Over time, her leg has gotten a lot better - so much in fact that I have to send the other slower dogs out into the yard to chase out wildlife before I let her out without a leash.  Her hunting dog roots definitely show when there is a rabbit or squirrel in the yard.  She has become a very affectionate and playful dog, a long way from the scared skittish one that we first brought home.  She has learned how to sit, settle, go box, and give paw.  She gets along great with our other two rescues (Mandy - 16, and Clementine - 4), and our cat (also 16).

Callie has been an awesome addition to our family!  Thanks a lot for allowing us to provide her with a permanent home!
