Angel

Breed: Boxer
DOB: 6-2010
Sex: Spayed female
Weight: 30 pounds

Foster home: Dale

Angel is a Boxer mix(?) pup who was rescued from a shelter where she was with a couple of her brothers. The boys were adopted but, unfortunately, Angel was not.

Most likely she was not adopted because she is blind in one eye. It was apparently damaged when she was very young.

The good news is that it does not seem to bother her or slow her down at all. She is a typical active puppy. She loves to play with her tennis ball and run in the back yard with her two “big brothers”,  my two six year old Boxer mixes.

The bad news is that although the eye is OK now surgery might be required in the future. The animal ophthalmologist said it might never need surgery but also that it is possible it would have to be removed in the future.

She is crate trained and we are working on the housebreaking.  She is almost there!

As with all APB dogs , she has had all her shots, will be spayed and will be microchipped.

She is a wonderful little girl. She is very friendly, active and just the cutest little sweetheart ever.

She would make an ideal family pet.  She is friendly, and active but really pretty calm when crated. Obviously, she will need some training but with a little work she will make a wonderful pet.

She will probably grow to be 50-60 pounds.

Boxers are a great breed. My two Boxers are two of the best pets I have ever had. They are smart, affectionate and gentle.  I can put them out with pretty much any dog of anys size and not worry at all.

A fenced yard and/ or a companion dog would be perfect for her.
