Please love me.  I’m lonely and frightened after being left by my family last month.   My experiences and loss have caused me to be anxious, and though I crave love and belonging, it will take me time to trust.    

I’m sweet, gentle and quiet.  I want nothing more than to be near you.  I’m housebroken, although I occasionally leak when I’m scared by harsh words, loud noises and sudden movements.   I thoroughly enjoy being out-of-doors.  I’m good with people and other dogs.  Squirrels and kitties are of particular interest to me, and I’m alert and curious about the world around me.  Since my curiosity has often led me astray, a fenced yard would be advantageous.

I’m very healthy, spayed and my vaccinations are up-to-date.  I don’t shed, but I require routine care and occasional grooming.  I don’t beg, and I’m not destructive.  I bark to alert, as appropriate.  I sit, lay, shake and stand on my hind legs on command, and I’m loose-leash trained.  I love belly rubs.
