Usually I am so clever, I can outsmart the other dogs and get to the one lap here before any of them. Once in a while I get distracted and then I have to wait. If I sit real nice and cross my paws, my foster mom finally notices me and she thinks I am so cute. Since she starts moving around, the lap gets emptied and viola! I can claim it!
When I get distracted, it is because I do have a nice little friend here who likes to play. I am a little particular about what dogs I will play with but Job has special needs and for some reason, him and I are good buddies. We usually only play when we go outside because when I am in the house, I really prefer to get that lap when it appears!
I am crate trained and housetrained. We aren’t real sure if I would be good out of the crate or not when no one is home because I like to chew on nylabones and other doggie toys and might chew on other stuff. Since I love to go in my crate for a treat, you probably should keep that routine up for at least a few more months when you adopt me
I don’t mind children but I like to “mouth” a lot when I play. I am trying to learn that I should be really, really gentle but sometimes I forget and even though I don’t do it very hard, it might be too much for a little kid.
I did live with a cat for a while and they told my foster mom that I got along fine with the cat.
This dog is fostered in Holland, MI
