As a typical husky-type dog, Bo can be independent and stubborn. He often obeys and sometimes will even deem it acceptable to come when you call him. There are also times when he is willing to return affection and enjoys human contact. However, there are other times that he totally ignores humans voices or walks away from attention. He can have his own “agenda” and unless someone is firm (but kind) he may just become the boss of the house!
We are happy to report that Bo, so far, has not tried to figure a way out of the 6-foot fenced yard. He is, nonetheless, an athletic and energetic dog who does require plenty of exercise so it is possible he has been kept too busy to attempt any fence climbing.
Even though he is very healthy, Bo does need to be fed some additives every day to keep him from having irritable bowel syndrome and an upset stomach. It is simple to control these issues if you take the time to make sure he has the extra additions for his diet.
Bo does well playing with other dogs as long as there are no toys or food for him to guard. He is good with humans but because of his tendency to try to dominate, he cannot go to a home with young children.
