I am the perfect lap dog. I am mellow, quiet, loving, and just prefer to be sitting in a lap or being held.  I love belly rubs and having my head scratched!

I am already housebroken and crate trained. I also don’t chew on anything I’m not supposed to. I currently have a fenced yard, but I would do fine with leash walks too. I like to go for walks, but enjoy being a couch potato too!

I ignore other dogs, but would get along just fine living with another laid back dog. I have only met a few cats, but I think its fun to chase them. I might torment a cat if I lived with one, so I should probably go to a home without cats.

I’m normally a very confident little dog, but new people can sometimes scare me. I prefer my own family to new people, and it sometimes takes me a little while to warm up to strangers. I would prefer a quiet home without a lot of commotion or visitors. Although I let familiar people handle me, I don’t like it when strangers try to restrain me. I can be difficult for vets and groomers, and I will even growl or snap at them if I’m really scared. Because I need regular grooming, I should go to the same groomer each time so that I can get used to them.

Kids make me uncomfortable and they don’t always notice when I’m scared of them. I will not be adopted out to a home with children of any age.
