Cara was found in a neglected state, as a stray in Ohio. All of her
vetting was done, including a complete dental, so she is healthy and
ready for a new, loving home. She loves to be a lap dog but also loves
to go for walks, spend time sniffing around outdoors and riding in the
car. She gets along fine with other dogs and seems to love all ages of
people. Easy to get along with, she makes no demands but greatly
appreciates any attention.
We thought she was blind when we first got her, but the doggy
ophthalmologist that examined and treated her, found that she can see
well with one eye. To see her navigate, you would never know that her
sight is impaired at all. She will, however, need to have eye drops
everyday for the rest of her life. She takes the drops well and is a
very good girl about all that.
Cara was obviously neglected in the past and needs a special home to
love and care for her the next several years. She would be a very easy
and rewarding companion for the right home.
