Carson is a strikingly handsome, very intelligent, fuzzy, 85lb BABY!    He’s a mama’s (or daddy’s) boy wrapped in a wolf-like package.  He has a very loving personality and desires lots of affection.   When that pathetic whine comes out of that huge head and he cocks his eyebrows at you, it’s so ridiculously cute that you really have no choice but to accommodate.  He can certainly be your cuddly teddy bear as he is completely huggable and often offers his belly for a rub.  Kisses are not his forte but he’ll bear them.  He has quite a large sound vocabulary and expresses his feelings in many different ways.  Most will make you smile.  He is very playful and enjoys rough-housing, chasing balls, and talking walks (although he needs better leash manners).  He is healthy, housetrained, good with kitties and does not need to be crated.  He is generally good with other dogs when introduced correctly but he has a slight dominant streak and is a serious resource guarder.  Although he likes to visit and play with other dogs, he should be an only-dog to insure there are no altercations.  He needs someone who can handle his size and strength but generally, if you are looking for a great companion, walking partner, and watch dog then Carson is the dog for you.
