Chacho is happy, playful, cuddly and very intelligent. He loves to run as fast as he can in the yard, to either chase all the birds and squirrels or just plain run. Another thing that Chacho likes to do worm his way under the covers to cuddle as close to you as he can when its time for bed.
This little guy knows sit, stay, off, drop (as in drop the toy), and he absolutely loves to play fetch. Chacho will also let you know when he needs to go potty; yep, believe it or not he is housetrained! Pretty good for a Chihuahua!
Although Chacho may seem like the perfect dog, we all know there is no such thing. He does have some quirks. Chacho is very protective of his chest area and front legs. He sometimes feels threatened if you dont approach those areas slowly and he will snap. For this reason we prefer he be adopted by someone experienced with Chihuahuas or someone calm with a lot of patience. We will also require a home with no resident children or regular visitors under 12 years old.
Chacho is good with other dogs, as long as they are not too bossy or possessive with toys. He is also up to date on all shots, neutered, tested negative for heartworm and is on preventative, and he is microchipped.
If you have any questions about ChaCho or want to meet him at one of our adoption events, you can contact: Hanaburgh@att.net for more information.
