My foster mom is sure I belonged to someone before I ended up in a shelter because I love humans so much. Since I was a stray, my exact breed is uncertain - the vet's guess is that I may be Jack Russell and Fox Terrier. But there's no doubt that I'm all TERRIER! I am scrappy, fearless and very playful. I love to snuggle with humans of all ages and sizes, but I may be too energetic and lively for a family with toddlers. I probably would not get along very well with cats unless they were very docile because I do like to be in charge.
I have lots of energy, but I'm not at all hyperactive. I love to go for long walks. I really haven't enjoyed this cold weather though and I don't like to be outside for very long right now. When the weather was warmer, I was very excited to be outside for long periods of time as long as my foster family would play with me. A fenced yard would be great but I do well on a leash as well. I do love the fireplace at my foster home, and I can often be found sleeping in front of the fire. I dont mind being in my crate; I sleep there at night and I stay there when my foster mom is out of the house. I am getting much better at going potty outside with no accidents lately.
I would love to find my forever family!! If you think that might be you, please fill out an application online or contact: Hanaburgh@att.net for more information.
