Hi There,
My name is Dakota. They also call me D-Boy or “Kota” for short. I am 2 years old so I am a big boy now. I love to play with all toys and chew my bones all the time. When my Mommy takes me out of my kennel, I have to find my bone or toy and put it in my mouth while making my famous ‘grrrring’ noise and wiggling my butt fast as I can and bring it with me when I go outside to go potty. I always drop it and then do my business and grab it again on the way in. I am crate trained and I know how to ring the bell at the back door to tell my mom I have to go potty. Sometimes I just ring it so that when I come back inside, I get another treat. Shhhhh, don’t tell my mom that because I don’t want her to catch on.
I have been to basic obedience school and graduated with flying colors. Mom says I am a very smart boy and learn quickly. I know things like sit, down, stay, leave it, home (which means go to my bed/blanket) heel and I even know how to speak. I love to play with my fur-sister a lot but I also love to snuggle too. I especially like my ears being rubbed and I like being petted. Mom says I have tons of energy and I like to run and go on long walks. I like to see what is going on around me or as far as I can see. My mom says that I am nosey but really I am just curious so I would probably do best with a fenced in yard so I can run as fast as I can and play without getting into trouble and trying to venture out in the world. I would do best with kids age 8 and older as the younger ones are more my size and I might accidentally knock them down.
When Mommy comes home from work, I get so excited to see her that I just have to tell her so. She lets me and Chloe out of our kennels and I run and find my toy to go out and go potty like a good boy. When she is getting our food bowls ready, I know how to open my kennel door, even if it is closed at the top, and I open it and wait anxiously in my kennel for Mommy to feed me. I am a very good boy and I wait for her to tell me it is okay to eat. Then I eat all my food up and wish that there was more in there. I am also a big boy at night and I sleep in bed with my mommy, fur-sister and fur-brother too and I don’t wake up until it is morning time. Then, I like to go and wake up my mommy by giving her big puppy kisses and telling her I have to go potty. She loves that a lot. Woof Woof
If you give me a chance, I will love you unconditionally and my big brown eyes will melt your heart and I just know you will fall in love with me when you see me too. I promise to be the best doggie and take care of you for the rest of our lives. So, please……Pick Me, Pick Me…….
Hopefully Yours,
Dakota – D’boy – Kota (WOOF, WOOF)
