Kira was surrendered to us because her owner could no longer afford to keep her. She is a 1 year old Boxer/Pit bull mix, and her boxer side shows up strongest in her personality. Kira has a great personality and just loves to give kisses and to cuddle!  She loves kids and other dogs, but we don't know about cats. She is a large dog at 57 pounds and is very strong, although Kira is doing well learning to walk nicely on a leash.  Kira is also crate trained and also doing well with house training and has not had any accidents in the house for a long time now.  She is still working on her manners, as she can't always control her exuberance and tends to jump up on people. Although Kira loves to be with people of all ages and is wonderful with the children in her foster home, small children are not recommended, as she does not realize how big she is and she will knock them down trying to show affection. Kira will also require a fenced yard.
