Hi There,

My name is Layla, which my foster Mommy says means "Dark Beauty." Yep, that’s me alright. I had a rough start in my young life already. When I was a very small puppy, the people I was with threw me out of the car window into a snow bank and a nice rescue lady saved me and brought me to APB. This hasn't affected me at all though and I am a very loving girl.

Let me tell you a little about myself .....I am sugar and spice and everything nice, however….I am rough and tough and can rumble and tumble with the best of the big dogs. My motto is "I am Puppy, hear me Roar." My older fur sibling, Jake, doesn't care for me very much unless I am quiet and calm and want to snuggle with him. He's an old man though so I guess I don’t blame him. My fur-sister Chloe plays with me and tries to show me that she is boss but I just don't let up and keep going back for more and more playing. I am like the Energizer Bunny that just keeps going and going and going….. I do like to be held by my Foster Mom when it is relaxation time in the evening and I am doing great at night in my kennel. I can sleep the whole night without having any accidents. If I do have to go, I will let her know. I am doing really really good making it through the day without any accidents in my kennel now too! I know how to sit and my foster Mommy is trying to teach me other commands too but I just want to play, play, play all the time though so I am not ready for school yet. Woof, Woof!

If you are an active human and want an active puppy to keep up with you, then I am the girl for you. You better watch out though, because you may end up having to keep up with me. Since I have so much energy and I am still a puppy, I would do best with children over 8 years old. Mommy thinks I am going to be a big girl, maybe 60-70 lbs. I also would do best with a fenced in yard seeing as I try to get out of the ones that I am in. I don’t know anything about cats as we don't have any at my house now and I really would love a fur sister or fur brother to play with but they should probably not be really old as I like to play rough. I like toys and treats and Jake’s big dog bed that is so comfy. I am learning how to walk on a leash and my foster Mommy says I am doing really good with that too. I like to go for car rides and checking out new places.

Wouldn't you like to make me a part of your family and give me a forever home? I promise that I will be a good girl and make you very happy and love you always.
