Lila is a sweet and happy girl who is just looking for a family of her own to love. She loves everyone she meets, including other dogs, cats, and kids. She is housetrained and doesn’t get into any trouble when left alone. But when you are home, Lila will be right by your side wherever you go. She LOVES going for walks and does a happy dance when she sees her leash. She can be a bit timid with men at first, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up (bribing her with cheese doesn’t hurt either.)
Lila does have a history of seizures, but from the one we observed and the information given by her former family, they are mild and do not occur very often – she simply loses the use of her legs for a few minutes and drools a bit. She does not need medication, although there is an inexpensive supplement that may help her.
Lila is really the ideal lab – playful and friendly without being obnoxious like younger labs often are. If you would like a loving companion and friend who doesn’t require any training to be the perfect pet, Lila might be the dog for you. Email hanaburgh@att.net for questions about Lila!
