I know the story is getting old – another dog that is heartworm positive! It is really sad because if my previous owners had spent just a little more money to buy preventative, it wouldn’t cost so much money now to get rid of the adult worms in my heart. Of course I am not really sad because I know I going to get taken care of and that when I am all better, I will find a new home where they will make sure I get my monthly pills!
Hopefully I will be ready for adoption in September so if you are interested in me, check back then to see if I have any updates and meanwhile, THANK YOU if you send me money!!!

UPDATE:
I am ready for adoption!
Even though I am a just a little bean of a beagle, I try hard sometimes to sound like the big beagles and give it all I’ve got to bay like them. My foster mom tells me I am doing good but I can tell she is smiling and that she doesn’t really believe it. Oh well. There isn’t time to work on trying to hunt or baying like the big kids. I have too much fun playing chase with the other dogs and stealing their toys and then running away from them. When the humans play with us, it is way too much fun, too! Then, when we all come in the house, sometimes they sit on this big couch and I like to snuggle with them. They pet me and tell me what a pretty girl I am and that I am a good girl. Wow. This is a great life. All I really need now is a place that I can stay forever.
I am doing really well with this housetraining thing. And when the humans leave the house or go to bed, I have a little crate I go in and I like it in there. In fact, when I get tired of doggie games, I like to curl up in my crate to take a nap.
I haven’t meet any really little humans or cats so we are not sure what I would think of them.
This dog is fostered in Holland, MI.
