Lilyanna is such a nice little herding dog... without all of the typical energy of these breeds. Don't get me wrong, she is still a pup with plenty of playfulness and fun.. but she really is a sweet, gentle, and more respectful herding puppy than I normally see.

Lily came to APB from a home situation, so that could be why she is so well mannered... She gets along great with the other dogs and cats in the house... and absolutely loves to be near people... she will follow me around the house and just rest nearby without getting in the way... if given the opportunity, she likes to lean on me, which quickly becomes a roll over for a belly rub... Lily knows the commands "sit" and "down"... she also understands "no", "off", "timeout" (to be crated), and "outside". I don't know how much of this was taught to her before she came into rescue, but from what I can tell, she is a quick learner.. Lily came to me 90% potty trained... so far, we've not had any accidents that were her fault... she comes to tell me if she needs to go out, I just had to get used to her way of asking... she also has not had any accidents in her crate, in which she is left for several hours each day, while I am at work. Lily is not great on lead, but I'm sure with some practice and training this would be easily remedied. She is one of those dogs that wants to please and is always looking up to me for direction.

Lily would love a fenced in yard to run and play in, along with a playmate if possible.. however, neither are requirements for her adoption... Lily has never lived with children so I don't know how she would be with them, although given her disposition I don't think there would be an issue with older kids or ones that are used to being around dogs.
