It was pretty scary being lost and ending up in this big building with all these other dogs barking and all these people looking at me through the door of the cage. And I was so cold and I had no extra fat to help me keep warm. I didn’t want to eat much because I was scared, too. Now that I am living in a house, I am not so scared anymore and it is really warm here. I have gained some weight so I don’t shiver as much as I use to plus, I get to wear sweaters and curl up under nice warm blankets if I feel a little chilly. Since both Chihuahuas and Italian greyhounds love to snuggle under blankets and afghans, I guess I not only like it for the warmth but it is also in my genes to like it!
All these other dogs here play a lot and they look they are having fun. So after I watched them for a while, I decided maybe I would try to join in. I’m still not always sure just how they do this play-thing but when I decide I am done, I try to find a lap to lay on.
It took me a little while to figure out what all the fuss was when I would potty in the house but now I know that when I get let out of my crate, I am suppose to go right outside to potty rather than just let it loose right away. It isn’t all that tough to figure out and unless it is really, really cold or raining, I don’t mind going outside at all.
There are just dogs here and only the regular size humans so I am not sure what I think of cats or little humans.
Do you have some of those nice blankets on your couch that are great for snuggling under? If you do, then I could come and live with you and put them to good use if you hurry up and fill out an application to adopt me!
