Lutian is such a wonderful boy... he's sweet, well mannered, and thinks he's a lap dog. Luee has one of the most even dispositions I've ever encountered in any dog... he is neither dominant nor submissive.. instead he adjusts his behaviors based on every one he meets... including people, dogs, and cats.  He can still be a little shy around new people or in new situations, however, it really only takes a small amount of time for him to adjust. Lutian is completely house and crate trained... he does still stay in his crate during the day when I am gone, but no longer needs to sleep in it at night... If he could I'm sure he'd love to curl right up to someone in his new family at bedtime, as he is a big snuggler.  Lue loves to run and play outside and will do so on his own or with you or another dog. Lue would do great at playing in a dog park or going to daycare to play.  He walks well on lead, but would probably benefit from some basic obedience (as would any dog).  Luee does well with cats and kids, but because of his size and his enthusiasm for life, he may knock a little one down when playing or running to get a toy. Lutian has demonstrated that he can jump pretty high when he gets excited, so baby gates may not be effective as a deterrent to keep him in or out of certain areas, however when he does jump over something it has always been to be near his people, and not to get away from them.  Lue's ideal new home will have another dog to play with, a fenced yard to run in, and no small children under 5.  If you're truly looking for a companion dog who is going to be loyal and loving please consider applying for Lutian.
