Matt Man

Breed: Miniature Poodle
DOB: 2000
Sex: Neutered male
Weight: 10 pounds
Foster home: Julie
043-08

Matt is a joy to have around!  He is such a sweet and friendly little boy that you can’t help but just love him.  He was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) so he is on medicine to help keep him from coughing but it is not something that will make much difference in his life span.  He also has a slight heart murmur but that is not unusual in small poodles and it is not significant enough for him to be taking any medication and it probably won’t be necessary for a few years yet.  So other than the old damage to his lungs, he is healthy and spry and you would never guess he is about 8 years old -- not that he chews and romps around like a puppy but he can get a little frisky at times when he is happy and playing with you.  There is no history on this boy since he was an unclaimed stray at a shelter so we don’t what caused his problems but someone must have been crazy not to come looking for him.

Matt Man gets along well with other dogs and sometimes will even play a little with them but he mostly likes his human attention.  There are no children or cats in his foster homes so we are not sure how he would be with them. E-mail julemson@wmol.com for more info!
