Someone lost this sweet, sweet boy and never came looking for him. He
was too old and nice to likely get adopted from a shelter so he came
to a foster home. He is a very easy dog to have around as he rarely
demands attention and he gets along great with the other dogs.
Monk loves to walk around outside sniffing and checking things out.
He also loves his doggie bed and if not eating, drinking or putzing
outside, he can be found curled up in his bed, either sleeping or
watching what is going on around him.
When he went to the vet and during his grooming, he does like to yelp
if he thinks he is going to be hurt at all – a little bit of a “drama
King” and he probably learned to make pitiful noises to make someone
stop doing something he didn’t want done. Since he is a bit of a
complainer, he probably would not do well in a home with small
children.
He has not been around cats so we are not sure how he would be with them.
