Hi! I’m Oscar! I was born into APB when my momma was pregnant with me. I stayed with my foster family until I was 6 months old. I got adopted, but they said I wasn’t doing well on training...but they also didn’t crate me. How does anyone expect a baby to learn with no guidelines to follow? I just don’t know. So, they blamed me for 'lack of training' and sent me back to my foster mom. I’m quite bummed, I liked them a lot, but my foster mom is very happy to see me again! But, now, I’m back where I grew up and I’m waiting for a new family to really truly love me! Even if I am a bit of a naughty baby. I’m an adolescent boy...what do you expect? Perfection? Did I mention I’m a Chihuahua and Pug and terrier? It’s in my chemical make up to be a bit of a buggar.
I’m really not naughty though. I do need a crate, or I may do a boo-boo in the house. I need my structure. I am super off leash if you like to play in the woods or on trails away from traffic. I LOVE going for walks and going bye-bye!
I was raised with dogs, cats and kids, and chickens, and I do well with all of them. I am a little dog with a big attitude though, like most little dogs. I really would benefit from obedience classes, mostly for socialization with new people and animals. I would like to be top dog if given the opportunity. No one in my foster family will let me. I’m bottom of the totem pole. I’m working on that though, there’s a big dumb pup here, and I’m trying to show her that I’m big and scary too...she doesn’t believe me.
I’m very vocal too. I do bark, but will stop if commanded to do so. I am a little growly when I’m snuggled on mommas lap, but I’m quite harmless. I just don’t want to share my warm lap with another dog or cat....but I will if you tell me so. I wouldn’t mind being an only child at all! Give me all the attention please!
I am truly a great little dog! Don’t let anyone tell you differently. I just need some training and structure in my life. I love people! All people! So, if you would be my new people and take good care of me and teach me right from wrong, I sure would be a much happier doggy! If you would like to talk about me, please email and ask any questions you would like. Foster mom loves to talk about Oscar-Boscar.
