Howdy!  I’m Pistol Pete the Peke!  I am a loveable, mellow fellow who likes to nose about in the backyard or just chill out on the floor, chewing my bones and toys.  Since I love the outdoors so much,  I’d prefer a forever home with a fenced yard. I am good with other dogs and ignore cats.  When I play with other dogs, I sound rough and tough, but I’m really just being talkative!  I’d do best in a home with mellow dogs who won’t take my “talking” the wrong way.  I take meds everyday as I have a past history of seizures, but the meds don’t cost much, and I have no other symptoms. Even though I have a low-key personality, I’d probably be better off living in a home with older children only – no toddlers, please!  I need to be groomed regularly to keep my long, flowing locks looking their best (and so I don’t smell like a wet bathmat!)  I’m crate trained, and I’m, well, mostly housebroken, but you have to keep me on schedule.  Basically, I’m just a cute, loveable little guy who would love to find the right forever home.  If you are interested in me, please contact lisa@schnauzerama.org
