Piper is a sweet little girl who bonds very quickly to people. Tiny little Piper would love to have a full time lap, or just any cozy place where she can be near her family. She does well with all other dogs, regardless of size, and she would even like to play with some of them. Being such a small and fragile dog, Piper will only be placed in a home without resident children under 10 years old.
Piper came to APB through an owner who relocated and was not able to have dogs at her new residence. Piper is housetrained but may have accidents overnight and when left home alone as she adjusts to a new home. She is missing quite a bit of hair right now due to a flea bite allergy (Piper’s new home will absolutely need to keep her on a veterinary prescribed flea control product such as Frontline), and she is currently healing up from spay surgery, a dental with many tooth extractions, and surgical repair for an inguinal hernia. So Piper has had lots of yucky stuff done to her, but she should be feeling 100% once she goes to her new home!
