Roxie is still young and puppy-like! She came to APB after someone noticed Roxie and her brother, Tank, abandoned in a vacant house and reported them to animal control. Roxie is currently far below her ideal weight, but she is eating well and we hope to see her gain about 25 pounds.

We are still learning about Roxie since she is fairly new to APB. She is a bit more energetic than the "average" Saint Bernard, and she would benefit from an obedience class with her new owner so both can learn how to manage Roxie's young self in such a BIG body. However, Roxie learns quickly and was offering polite sits for treats within a few days of being taught how to sit. She loves treats and utterly thrives on attention and praise as motivation for learning!

Roxie is very friendly and bonds quickly to people. She gets along with most dogs, but she vastly prefers being with people! Roxie will need to go to a home that does not have any cats since she wanted to go after the ones at the shelter.
