Hi, my name is Sasha, and I am a 2 ½ year old German Shepherd looking for a forever home. I was surrendered to APB by my former owners because they could no longer care for me. I am very friendly and love attention from people! Even though I was left outside for over a year, I am house trained. The only accidents I have had were when my foster parents didn’t pay attention to me when I said I had to go outside. My foster parents say I am very energetic, but I say it is just that I have so much love to give that I have trouble holding it all in. My tail is always wagging, which is by my nickname is wiggle-butt!

I am small for a German Shepherd, and need to put on more weight still. I am about 60 pounds, but should be closer to 70 pounds when I get up to my normal weight. The home I go to should not have any small animals (i.e., cats, small dogs, ferrets, hamsters…) as I tend to see those things as chew toys, but bigger dogs are OK. Small kids are probably not a good idea, because I am so wiggly that I might knock them down, but I would love to have a family with older kids who would play with me (especially if they like to throw a ball or Frisbee)!
