Funny, playful, happy, and sweet are all words I'd use to describe little Scarlett...

She is such a nice little puppy to have around... and it is a simple joy to watch her enjoying life. Although we don't know what her life was like before she ended up as a stray in a local shelter, she still has a great disposition. Scarlett constantly wags her little tail so hard her whole little body wags, even when she is running.

Scarlett plays very well with the other dogs in her foster home... and she loves to chase the kitty, but she is learning to stop when I tell her "no". She has also quickly learned the commands "sit" and "outside"... although she is a bit jumpy when she gets really excited, she is learning this is not the best puppy behavior. Scarlett is working on her house training and doing a good job when kept on a schedule... she is also able to sleep through the night without having an accident.

Scarlett would love a fenced in yard to run and play in, along with a playmate if possible.. however, neither are requirements for her adoption... Scarlett has never lived with children so I don't know how she would be with them, although given her disposition I don't think there would be an issue with older kids or ones that are used to being around active little puppies.
