Simon is a sweet and affectionate yellow lab mix.  He was found as a stray, and by the looks of him he was on his own for awhile before being picked up by animal control.  He was very skinny and sad looking, but after just a few days of getting lots of love and nutritious food in his foster home he was looking happy and healthy.  Unfortunately, his first vet checkup revealed that he has heartworm.  He will be starting treatment soon, after which he will need to spend some quiet time recovering.  Simon is a happy and loveable boy who likes to spend time playing outside or just snuggling with his favorite people.  Sometimes he even gets to sit on his foster dad's lap while he works.  He will make a wonderful addition to someone's family once he is ready for adoption.
