Spice might have been named after some spunky pop singers.  Even though she is a little advanced in age, she certainly isn’t a total couch potato.  She isn’t over active but it is sometimes hard to believe she is suppose to be this old.

Spice gets along fine with other dogs – in fact she has even tried to play with some of the large dogs. She also is housetrained.  She is a funny girl when it is time for the other dogs to be crated.  She knows they get a treat for going in their crates and while she doesn’t need to be crated, she definitely thinks she deserves a treat, too.  She runs back and forth in the house and even gives a few excited barks. We can’t help but give her a treat because she thinks it is such a great thing to get a little milkbone to eat.

It wasn’t anything Spice did to lose her previous home.  Her owner became ill and could no longer care for her.  She is a great little dog and will make someone a great companion whether she is the only dog or an addition to a “pack”.
