Hi! My name is Spike! My foster mom calls me Spikey. She says I'm too sweet to have a hard name like Spike. This is my third home that I remember. I went to live with my first mom when I was a puppy. She didn't know that Jack Russells have a lot of energy. She was an older lady who was nice to me, but I just didn't get enough play time. It took her two years to figure this out, and she sent me to a scary place called "the shelter". My second mom was really nice too. They had two tiny people puppies who love me a lot. But the problem was, tiny people puppies dont know how to close the door and keep an eye on me, so I kept sneaking out of the house and running away. My mom was really scared something bad was going to happen to me, so she decided I needed a third mom. Luckily, the people from APB heard about me and said I could come stay with them.
The new place I live in is GREAT! I have three other dogs to play with and a big place outside called a "yard" to run around in! It's surrounded by this high thing called a "fence" that keeps me from running away and getting lost. My foster mom says I have to have one of these fence things in my forever home too. I have kinda bad knees, so my fence doesn't have to be super high, just secure and safe.
I'm very sweet and cuddly and loving. I lived in a house with babies and toddlers, and I know how to be very gentle with them. I will jump up on them and play with them, but I'm always nice. There are these other smaller things called "kitties" though
um.. I kinda like to play with them too much
the word my foster mom uses is "terrorize". I'm not sure what that means, but I think it just means play. She doesn't think I should live with them, though.
I'm a very good boy. I never go potty in the house, and I'm crate trained too! I'm quiet in my crate, but would much rather be with you snuggling. If you have a spare lap, can I come home with you?
