This handsome young man is Teddy – a beagle mix who came to APB as a stray from animal control at a little less than a year old. Teddy makes friends easily, and what he is especially looking for in his new home is another playful dog to keep him busy! He will be a wonderful addition to most any family, as he is comfortable with everyone he meets – big or little, young or old, quiet or loud, as well as dogs and cats :)

Teddy is a super smart boy who loves to learn new things! He is currently in a clicker training class, and it is a blast to work with Teddy because he really thinks about what he is supposed to do and tries to get it right. He has fabulous attention skills and will work hard to earn his treats.

At home, Teddy is house trained and crate trained, and he knows sit, down, and stay (not that he doesn’t still have his naughty behaviors like a bit of counter surfing and occasionally stealing something for the thrill of it). Part of being so smart and energetic is that Teddy needs lots of fun and activity to keep him out of trouble, but at the same time, Teddy has a very relaxed attitude and he is very happy to go along with whatever he is asked to do.

If you have any questions about Teddy, please email his foster mom at hanaburgh@att.net.
