I am a typical sassy little
shih tzu who is afraid of nothing and I just know that everyone should
cater to me and give me unending love and attention.
But since I am so CUTE, it won’t be difficult to do this for me!
Now, while I am a darling
little girl, I do have some special needs. First, I
have a re-occurring yeast infection so I will need to be bathed about
once every week or two with a special shampoo.
Second, I hate my baths and will sob and cry almost the whole time.
The biggest problem is that I am terrified about getting water in
my nose!!! Someone must have been rough during my
baths in my former life so even though my foster mom is very, very
careful, I just don’t trust her to keep that water out of my nostrils!
Finally, third, I don’t do long stairways so I have to be carried
up stairs that are more than about 4 steps high. We
know this because the bedrooms in my foster home are upstairs and I am
such a “baby” that I get to be carried up every night to sleep on a bed!
And I LOVE sleeping on the bed with people!!
Other than that, I am pretty
easy to live with. I get along great with the other
dogs and even like to play with them sometimes. I
like doggie toys and I adore human attention. I do
HATE to be crated so my foster mom just puts a gate up to keep me in the
kitchen and dining area when she is gone because sometimes I do have
accidents – especially if it is rainy outside or really cold. E-mail
