Theo’s owner had to move into assisted living housing and could no longer keep him.  Theo was obviously well loved because he has a wonderful temperament – gentle, affectionate, and intelligent.  His 3 foster sisters, including a cat, accepted him with no problems at all and he, in turn, has completely accepted them.

It doesn’t appear that Theo was walked for exercise even though he is a very muscular boy but he is quickly learning heel and can walk half a mile easily now.  He does have some sound sensitivity as some loud noises can frighten him.  Theo is a real “homebody” – he goes outside and wants back in immediately.  He does enjoy car rides though and travels very well in the car.  He is learning sit-stay, and is a quick learner who wants to please his person.  His ideal home would be as a companion with someone who does not work full time, although he does just fine when left alone and confined.  Theo is housetrained and crate trained.
