Tina’s owner passed away, and she came into rescue with some health problems of her own. She was very lethargic and slept most of the time. When she went for her vet visit, they found out she had hypothyroid so she was put on thyroid medication. With days she finally had energy and some spunk! However, Tina got really sick very suddenly and had to stay at the vet office overnight. She will go back for a checkup in a couple of weeks but it is possible that she has a calcified pancreas or maybe even cancer. Please send positive thoughts her way and if you have a soft spot for little chihuahua girls, please consider donating something to help pay for her tests and possible treatment. Tina is fostered in the Grand Rapids area; e-mail julemson@wmol.com for more info!
