My previous owner got sick. She was too sick to notice that I was getting “sick”, too. But I am not a sissy so I didn’t act very sick and even when I came into a foster home, they thought I just had a bladder infection because I was trying to pee all the time. I went to the vet and they took some pictures and found out how sick I was with 4 big stones in my bladder. Just like that they took me into surgery and got those big uncomfortable things out of there. They are going to call my foster mom in a few days to let her if I need a special diet because they are doing some tests on the stones.
Unfortunately, I am not done with my sad story. I was also tested for heartworm and I am have them! So when I get all better from the surgery on my bladder, I will have to be treated so that I can get rid of those nasty bugs in my heart. I am going to owe the vet quite a bit of money. If you can help me with that, it would be GREAT and I thank you!!!! You can apply to adopt me but I probably won’t be ready for adoption until May.
PS. I am not a really old dog but I do have cataracts so I am almost completely blind. But like I said before, I am not a sissy and it doesn’t really bother me. I figure out how to get around, go up and down a few steps to get outside and easily find the food and water and doggie beds!
