Ziggy is an absolutely wonderful little dog. He was found as a stray and incarcerated with Pip where they became fast friends. Zig is about a year old, housebroken, and ten pounds of busy energy. He loves to play with toys and run around the yard carrying anything, toys, sticks, balls, leaves (a branch off the rose bush didn't work out so well)! He and Pip will hold the same toy and run back and forth or chase each other trying to get the toy. Unfortunately he also likes to chase the cats, and he really doesn't understand why they don't want to play too.
Ziggy is a great snuggler and likes to sleep under the covers. He is also very curious and has checked out under all the furniture and behind the china hutch and buffet. Ziggy makes himself useful around the house too. He makes sure the dishes are extra clean going into the washer, inspects all the clothes when they come o ut of the dryer to make sure they are completely dry, and loves to smooth out the sheets when the linen is changed on the beds by jumping wherever you are working. His tail is always wagging and he has a great smile. He wants to be with his people all the time! Ziggy is still somewhat afraid of strangers and warms up a bit slowly but when he gets to know them they are fair game for kisses. Zig would love to be adopted with his buddy Pip so they can continue to play together but can be adopted by himself. He needs a fenced yard and someone who will play with him.
