If you want a loving dog who will bond to you immediately, have no house training accidents, and who gets along with other dogs--then Zoe is for you! She also doesn't beg for food (well, as much as any dog won't beg for food as the desire is always there) and hardly ever barks.
When Zoe was in the shelter, she was so timid she wouldn't come out of her run to meet people. But now there's the real Zoe: She frolics at the dog park, taking an interest in other dogs and chasing them and tennis balls. She's always up for a walk around the neighborhood. When you're not at home, she cuddles up in a favorite spot, waiting patiently for your arrival. And if you're just in the mood to sit on the couch and watch TV, Zoe will do that too, right with you, or close to you in a favorite spot, all curled up.
Zoe can be nervous with new people and startles easily, so she is recommended for a quieter home without children, although she should be fine with with visiting children that she is familiar with. Zoe still is a bit on the submissive side, but once you have her trust, she's all yours!
