Bombur is this boy's name...well, that's his
newest name. He's not telling what his first name was or where he
came from. I do know that his crazy chowchow fur makes him look
roly-poly and he waddles a little when he walks. This is
just like Bombur, the fat, sweet, silly, somewhat pouty dwarf in the
hobbit. He's also sweet, silly, and somewhat pouty! He LOVES
to go for walks, play tug and chase, and have his belly-rubbed, but he
especially likes to be spanked (not for misbehavior, of course).
He is as spunky as a puppy but generally very well-behaved like the
adult dog he is. He would prefer a fenced-in yard as he loves to
be outside but lots of walkies would be acceptable. He is
potty-trained, good with other dogs and doesn't need to be crated.
When you look at that "baby seal" face and that fuzz ball of a body you
just want to hug and kiss him. But, he's a chow, remember, with
all the silly, quirky chow personality traits so that must be
considered. Believe me, I hug him all the time, I can't help it.
Look at him! But for that reason he shouldn't go to a home with
kids under 12 or adults that can't deal with attitude. He also
talks like a chowchow, kind of like a seal, and he will need regular
brushing like a chow. In fact, I'm just going to call him a
miniature chow. He is such a cool, little guy.
Why don't you give him his special home?
