At the end of last summer we lost our
Billie, a sixteen year old black lab and then the Wednesday
before Christmas we lost our Zeus. ( You can see his picture
in the background of one of the pictures I am attaching. )
For the first time in about thirty years we were without a
dog child in our home. We had originally planned on waiting
until June to adopt again but not having a dog in the house
got to us. We contacted APB and found not one but two
lovely little girls to come and fill the empty space in out
home and hearts. And they have done just that. Arriving on
New Year's Day though the efforts of their wonderful foster
parents, Shari and Deb, Chloe and Addy have made this the
happiest of New Year's.
They are adjusting so well that it is
hard to believe that as I write this they have been here a
mere two days.
I just want to thank APB and all of
your who were involved in helping Addy and Chloe to find
their forever homes for giving us this fantastic way to
start the New Year.
