Obie was a blessing when he came into our lives.  I was so excited when we first brought him home.I spoiled him from the first day he was here.  He had a hard life From what we were told, he had a hard life before he came to live with us.  We gave him a good and loving home.  He even had a dog friend named Marty who we already had.  He was a beautiful Sheltie.  He passed away from old age just 3 weeks ahead of Obie's passing.  Neither dog wandered off the yard and we never had to worry if they would come back.  He and Obie best buddies until the end.  They both are now together in heaven.  We will miss them always.  Obie would cuddle with me and knew when I was sad or crying that I needed love.  He would always make me feel better.  What a sweetheart.
