I have an update on Mokee. She is
soooooo cute! She has adjusted so well. She goes to
find us when she is told to go and she is very good
about telling us she has to go out to potty. She is helping
me type this update so if it gets hard to read, it is her
input! She has to sit on my lap as well when I am on the
computer. She rides so good in the car and I just know that
she should have been named "Cargo" too. She sees me get my
purse and she heads for the door. When I go near the hook
where the leash is, she begins to spin. She has a little
pink frilly sweater that she wears outside.
I have gotten her license and left her
name Mokee.
She loves to see all the old people at
the Oak Crest Manors where my Mom is. If I go and don't
take her along, the residents are really sad about it. She
kisses them and cuddles with them. I think I will get her
certified to go to homes and the hospitals because she is so
gentle and cute.
I had her groomed today at the Barking
Lot. My daughter-in-law takes Cocoa there and she just
loves her so I took her over there yesterday and talked to
her about the cost and made an appointment. She also
teaches Dog Obedience Classes. I plan to take her to one in
January.
She
slept with
us last night and now I owe my son coffee money!
I told Doug and Diane that I wasn't going to let
her for at least a month and and they said "I bet you coffee
money you don't make it a week." She was very good. She
got me up at 12:30 to go out and she did go potty. We went
to bed early because I was tired (8:00). The kids were in
for our family Christmas party and I had to check their car
to make sure Mokee was not in the back with my granddaughter
Faith when they left. She had so much fun with her. My son
is starting to melt. I told Diane to let me know when they
get their new puppy. He said they weren't going to get
another one but I think Mokee changed his mind.
Thank you Julie for having the courage
to let us have her! My husband is in love with her too and
he laughs and laughs with her. It is good for him as well.
Got to go and let you get to taking
care of the other dogs for other blessed people. You
blessed us so much with Mokee!
THANKS SO MUCH.
