Parker

Parker made his journey to the bridge yesterday. He was returned to APB after spending a wonderful and very loved year with an adoptive family. Sadly, his mom has cancer now and was unable to care for him any longer. Parker was in a great deal of pain because of an old injury (hit by car which broke his leg) that his past "family" ignored. This poor guy spent most of his life tied to a tree and yet his love for humans never wavered. Then, when he was too much of a burden for his previous "people", they dumped him in a shelter that gassed dogs and actually enjoyed it. Luckily, another rescue group saved him from this horrible fate and then he came to APB to be shown what love really is. Thank you to all who had a part in this boy's happiest days. Please keep his mom, Laura, in your thoughts and prayers during her fight with cancer.
