....Amanda Collins!

How long have you been with APB?
7 years

Why did you sign up to work with the group?
I love dogs and thought it would be a fun experience as well as giving the satisfaction of helping dogs in need.  I was also going off to college and thought it would be fun for my mom to have something to do so I talked her into signing up as well.

What kinds of things do you do with APB?
I am a foster home and I help with various fundraisers.

What's your favorite kind of dog, and would it be your favorite kind of dog to foster?
I actually have two favorite kinds, Dachshunds and Golden Retrievers.  I love fostering dachshunds, except I want to keep them all, and I have never fostered a golden, but love the breed.

What's your most memorable foster/volunteer experience?
Wearing the Scooby Doo suit and “dancing”, and I use the term ‘dancing’ loosely, in front of Skory Auto Sound to advertise the craft sale.

If you should share one doggie lesson with folks, what would it be?
Don’t judge a dog based on breed.
